Walt Disney Studios is an American film studio and a division of The Walt Disney Company. The studio is based in Burbank, California. It is one of the major film studios in the world and is responsible for producing, marketing, and distributing films.

Walt Disney Studios was founded by Walt Disney and Roy O. Disney as the Disney Brothers Studio in 1923. The studio was later renamed Walt Disney Productions and eventually became The Walt Disney Company.
