Disney Star
Disney Star is an Indian media conglomerate and a subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company. It is one of the largest media networks in India, operating a wide range of television channels, digital platforms, and other media services. Disney Star was formerly known as Star India before its acquisition by The Walt Disney Company.

Disney Star was originally established as Star India in 1990. It was part of the Star TV network, which was founded by Richard Li in Hong Kong. In 2009, News Corporation acquired a controlling stake in Star India. In 2013, 21st Century Fox took over News Corporation's entertainment assets, including Star India. In 2019, The Walt Disney Company acquired 21st Century Fox, including Star India, and rebranded it as Disney Star.

Disney Star operates a wide range of television channels in multiple languages, including Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, and Bengali. The network's portfolio includes general entertainment channels, movie channels, sports channels, and regional channels.
