The Good, the Bart, and the Loki
The Good, the Bart, and the Loki is a crossover animated short film that combines elements from The Simpsons and the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). It was released on Disney+ on July 7, 2021. The short features characters from The Simpsons interacting with characters from the MCU, specifically focusing on Loki, the God of Mischief.
Plot[edit | edit source]
The short film begins with Loki being banished from Asgard once again. This time, he finds himself in Springfield, the hometown of the Simpson family. Loki quickly forms an alliance with Bart Simpson, who is known for his mischievous behavior. Together, they create chaos in Springfield, much to the dismay of the other residents.
As the story progresses, Loki and Bart face off against various characters from both The Simpsons and the MCU. Lisa Simpson takes on the role of Thor, wielding a makeshift hammer, while Homer Simpson becomes the Hulk. The short film is filled with humorous references and parodies of iconic scenes from the MCU films.

- Loki - Voiced by Tom Hiddleston, Loki is the God of Mischief from the MCU who finds himself in Springfield.
- Bart Simpson - Voiced by Nancy Cartwright, Bart is the mischievous son of the Simpson family who teams up with Loki.
- Lisa Simpson - Voiced by Yeardley Smith, Lisa takes on the role of Thor in the short film.
- Homer Simpson - Voiced by Dan Castellaneta, Homer becomes the Hulk in the crossover.
- Marge Simpson - Voiced by Julie Kavner, Marge is the matriarch of the Simpson family.

The Good, the Bart, and the Loki was produced by Gracie Films in association with 20th Television Animation. The short was directed by David Silverman, a long-time director for The Simpsons. The crossover was created to celebrate the release of the Loki series on Disney+.

The short film received positive reviews from both fans of The Simpsons and the MCU. Critics praised the clever integration of the two universes and the humorous references to both franchises. The voice acting, particularly Tom Hiddleston reprising his role as Loki, was also well-received.
