Huanggang

Huanggang (黄冈) is a prefecture-level city located in the eastern part of Hubei province, People's Republic of China. It is situated on the northern bank of the Yangtze River and is known for its rich history, cultural heritage, and significant contributions to education and agriculture.

Huanggang is bordered by the cities of Wuhan to the west, Huangshi to the south, and Jiujiang in Jiangxi Province to the southeast. The terrain is predominantly hilly and mountainous, with the Dabie Mountains to the north.
