The portion or meal component in Nutrition Standards for School Meals that is comprised of fruits, as part of school meals and or school lunch programs.
Types of fruits[edit | edit source]
Fruits can be fresh, frozen, canned, dried, and pasteurized full-strength juice.
Fruit juice[edit | edit source]
Up to half of fruit offerings may be in the form of full-strength juice.
