A delicious and keto-friendly recipe, Spiced Bacon Deviled Eggs are a perfect appetizer or snack. They are high in protein and healthy fats, making them a great choice for those following a keto diet.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 12 large eggs
- 6 slices of bacon
- 1/2 cup of mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Start by hard boiling the eggs. Place the eggs in a large pot, cover with water and bring to a boil. Once boiling, remove from heat and let sit, covered, for 12 minutes. Then, drain and cool in ice water.
- While the eggs are cooling, cook the bacon until crispy. Drain on paper towels and then crumble.
- Peel the eggs and cut in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks and place in a bowl.
- Add the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, paprika, salt, and pepper to the yolks. Mix until smooth.
- Stir in the crumbled bacon.
- Fill each egg white half with the yolk mixture. Garnish with a sprinkle of paprika and fresh parsley.
