Grippe
Grippe is a term often used to refer to influenza, a contagious respiratory illness caused by influenza viruses. The term "grippe" is derived from the French word for influenza.
Symptoms[edit | edit source]
The symptoms of grippe can range from mild to severe and can include fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, body aches, headache, chills, and fatigue. In some cases, grippe can lead to more serious complications such as pneumonia and other bacterial infections.

Grippe is primarily transmitted through the air by coughs or sneezes of infected individuals. It can also be spread by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it and then touching the mouth or nose.
Prevention[edit | edit source]
Prevention methods for grippe include getting the annual flu vaccine, practicing good hand hygiene, and avoiding close contact with sick individuals.
Treatment[edit | edit source]
Treatment for grippe primarily involves rest and hydration. Over-the-counter medications can help to alleviate symptoms. In some cases, antiviral drugs may be prescribed.
