Overview[edit | edit source]

The field of neuroscience is dedicated to the study of the nervous system and its functions. It is a multidisciplinary branch of biology that combines physiology, anatomy, molecular biology, developmental biology, cytology, mathematical modeling, and psychology to understand the fundamental and emergent properties of neurons and neural circuits.

Neurological Disorders[edit | edit source]

Neurological disorders are diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system. They include brain disorders such as Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, and epilepsy. Neurological disorders can affect an entire neurological pathway or a single neuron, leading to a range of symptoms.

Neurology[edit | edit source]
