Kerala Style Chicken Curry with Coconut Cream[edit | edit source]
This is a delicious and healthy Keto friendly recipe for Kerala Style Chicken Curry with Coconut Cream. It's a perfect dish for those who are on a Ketogenic diet and love Indian cuisine.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 500g Chicken pieces
- 2 tbsp Coconut oil
- 1 large Onion, finely chopped
- 2 Green chillies, slit
- 1 tbsp Ginger, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp Garlic, finely chopped
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- 2 tsp Coriander powder
- 1 tsp Red chilli powder
- 1 tsp Garam masala
- 200ml Coconut cream
- Salt to taste
- Coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Heat the coconut oil in a pan and add the chopped onions, green chillies, ginger, and garlic. Sauté until the onions turn golden brown.
- Add the turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, and garam masala to the pan. Stir well until the spices are well mixed with the onions.
- Add the chicken pieces to the pan and mix well. Cook on medium heat until the chicken is half cooked.
- Add the coconut cream to the pan and mix well. Cover the pan and cook on low heat for about 20 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and the gravy is thick.
- Add salt to taste and garnish with coriander leaves before serving.
