Keto Taco Meatza is a delicious, low-carb alternative to traditional pizza. It uses a meat crust instead of a bread crust, making it perfect for those following a keto diet.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup bell pepper, chopped
- 1/4 cup black olives, sliced
- 1/4 cup jalapeno peppers, sliced
- 1 tbsp taco seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, taco seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Press the ground beef mixture into the bottom of a greased baking dish, forming a crust.
- Bake the meat crust in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until fully cooked.
- Remove the meat crust from the oven and drain off any excess grease.
- Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the meat crust.
- Sprinkle the cheddar and mozzarella cheese evenly over the tomato sauce.
- Top the cheese with the chopped onion, bell pepper, black olives, and jalapeno peppers.
- Return the dish to the oven and bake for another 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
