Keto Lasagna with Keto Noodles[edit | edit source]
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- Keto Noodles - 2 packs
- Ground Beef - 1 lb
- Mozzarella Cheese - 2 cups
- Ricotta Cheese - 1 cup
- Parmesan Cheese - 1/2 cup
- Egg - 1
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Onion - 1 small
- Tomato Sauce - 1 cup
- Olive Oil - 2 tbsp
- Salt and Pepper - to taste
- Italian Seasoning - 1 tsp
- Fresh Basil - for garnish
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and sauté until translucent.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Drain the excess fat.
- Stir in the tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, egg, and half of the parmesan cheese.
- Layer the lasagna in a baking dish as follows: a layer of keto noodles, a layer of the meat sauce, a layer of the ricotta mixture, and a layer of mozzarella cheese. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of mozzarella cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Allow the lasagna to rest for 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh basil.
