Low carb ginger and licorice granola
Low Carb Ginger and Licorice Granola[edit | edit source]
This is a delicious and healthy recipe for a low carb, keto-friendly granola with a unique twist of ginger and licorice.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 2 cups of almonds
- 1 cup of pumpkin seeds
- 1 cup of sunflower seeds
- 1/2 cup of flax seeds
- 1/2 cup of chia seeds
- 1/2 cup of coconut oil
- 1/2 cup of erythritol
- 2 tablespoons of ginger powder
- 2 tablespoons of licorice powder
- 1 teaspoon of sea salt
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F).
- In a large bowl, mix together the almonds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, flax seeds, and chia seeds.
- In a small saucepan, melt the coconut oil over low heat. Add the erythritol, ginger powder, licorice powder, and sea salt. Stir until well combined.
- Pour the coconut oil mixture over the seed and nut mixture. Stir until everything is well coated.
- Spread the mixture out on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the granola is golden brown. Be sure to stir the granola every 10 minutes to ensure even baking.
- Let the granola cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
