Neapolitan fat bombs
Neapolitan Fat Bombs[edit | edit source]
A delicious and satisfying treat, the Neapolitan Fat Bombs are a perfect snack for those following a keto diet. They are easy to make and are packed with healthy fats and protein.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 1 cup coconut oil
- 1 cup almond butter
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup erythritol or other sugar substitute
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup strawberries, pureed
- Pinch of salt
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Melt the coconut oil and almond butter together in a saucepan over low heat. Stir until smooth.
- Divide the mixture into three equal parts. Leave one part in the saucepan, pour the second part into another bowl, and the third part into a third bowl.
- In the saucepan, stir in the cocoa powder and half of the erythritol. This will be the chocolate layer.
- In the second bowl, stir in the vanilla extract and the remaining erythritol. This will be the vanilla layer.
- In the third bowl, stir in the pureed strawberries. This will be the strawberry layer.
- Pour the chocolate layer into a silicone mold or ice cube tray. Freeze for 15 minutes.
- Pour the vanilla layer over the chocolate layer. Freeze for another 15 minutes.
- Finally, pour the strawberry layer over the vanilla layer. Freeze for at least 2 hours, or until solid.
- Once solid, remove the fat bombs from the mold and store in an airtight container in the freezer.
