Soy Sauce Marinated Deviled Eggs[edit | edit source]
Soy Sauce Marinated Deviled Eggs is a delicious and healthy keto friendly recipe. It is a perfect snack or appetizer that is low in carbs and high in protein.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 6 Eggs
- 1/4 cup of Soy Sauce
- 1/4 cup of Water
- 1 tablespoon of Vinegar
- 1 tablespoon of Mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon of Mustard
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- Paprika for garnish
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Start by hard boiling the eggs. Place the eggs in a pot, cover with water and bring to a boil. Once boiling, turn off the heat, cover the pot and let the eggs sit for 12 minutes.
- After the eggs have cooled, peel them and cut in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks and set aside.
- In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, water, and vinegar. Place the egg whites in the mixture and let them marinate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for a stronger flavor.
- In another bowl, mix the egg yolks with the mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper. Mash everything together until smooth.
- Once the egg whites have marinated, remove them from the soy sauce mixture. Fill each egg white with the yolk mixture.
- Sprinkle with paprika for garnish before serving.
