Teriyaki grilled steak
Keto Friendly Teriyaki Grilled Steak[edit | edit source]
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 1 lb beef steak
- 1/4 cup soy sauce (low sodium)
- 1/4 cup erythritol (or other keto-friendly sweetener)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, erythritol, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil. Stir until the erythritol is fully dissolved.
- Season the steak with salt and pepper, then place it in a ziplock bag. Pour the marinade over the steak, seal the bag, and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade, letting the excess drip off. Reserve the marinade for basting.
- Grill the steak for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness. Baste the steak with the reserved marinade halfway through cooking.
- Let the steak rest for a few minutes before slicing. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
