Easy Protein Noodle Low Carb Lasagna[edit | edit source]
This is a delicious and easy-to-make keto friendly recipe for protein noodle low carb lasagna. It's perfect for those following a low-carb diet or anyone who just wants a healthier version of this classic dish.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 2 cups of protein noodles
- 1 lb of ground beef
- 1 cup of ricotta cheese
- 1 cup of mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese
- 2 cups of low-carb marinara sauce
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until it's no longer pink. Drain the excess fat.
- In a bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, egg, salt, and pepper.
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce at the bottom of a baking dish.
- Arrange a layer of protein noodles over the sauce.
- Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the noodles, then layer with half of the cooked ground beef.
- Repeat the layers, ending with a layer of noodles.
- Top with the remaining marinara sauce, then sprinkle with mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let the lasagna rest for 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh basil.
