Keto cornbread is a low carbohydrate / keto friendly food item.

Keto Cornbread is a low-carbohydrate alternative to traditional Southern cornbread. Made primarily with almond flour and devoid of cornmeal, this bread offers the comforting texture of cornbread without the high carb count.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 2 cups almond flour
- 1/4 cup coconut flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup melted unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 4 large eggs
- (Optional) Jalapeños, cheese, or herbs for added flavor
Preparation[edit | edit source]
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish or skillet.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, mix the melted butter, almond milk, and eggs until well combined.
- Gradually mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring until smooth.
- (Optional) Fold in any additional ingredients, like jalapeños or cheese.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared dish or skillet, spreading evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden and a toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the center.
- Allow to cool before slicing and serving.

- Serve with butter, keto-friendly jam, or alongside a hearty soup or chili.
