Overview[edit | edit source]

Keto Kohlslaw is a crunchy, tangy, and creamy coleslaw, tailored to fit the ketogenic diet. It omits sugar and opts for keto-friendly ingredients while maintaining the traditional taste and texture of classic coleslaw.

Ingredients[edit | edit source]

  • 4 cups shredded cabbage (a mix of red and green cabbage can be used)
  • 1/4 cup grated carrot (optional for those strict about carbs)
  • 3/4 cup full-fat mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp erythritol or other keto-friendly sweetener
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp celery seed (optional)

Preparation[edit | edit source]

  • 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded cabbage and grated carrot.
  • 2. In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sweetener, Dijon mustard, salt, pepper, and celery seed.
  • 3. Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss well until everything is well-coated.
  • 4. Refrigerate for at least an hour before serving to let the flavors meld.

Serving Suggestions[edit | edit source]

  • Perfect as a side dish for barbecued meats or keto sandwiches.
  • Can be used as a topping for keto tacos or wraps.
