Keto Rutabaga Fritters with Bacon is a delicious and healthy recipe that is perfect for those following a keto diet. This recipe is easy to prepare and packed with flavors from the rutabaga, bacon, and spices.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 2 medium rutabaga, peeled and grated
- 4 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup of almond flour
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Start by cooking the bacon in a pan until crispy. Once cooked, remove the bacon and set it aside to cool. Once cooled, crumble the bacon into small pieces.
- In a large bowl, combine the grated rutabaga, crumbled bacon, eggs, almond flour, salt, and pepper. Mix until all the ingredients are well combined.
- Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, scoop out a portion of the rutabaga mixture and shape it into a patty. Place the patty in the pan and cook for about 5 minutes on each side, or until the fritter is golden brown and crispy.
- Repeat this process with the remaining rutabaga mixture. Serve the fritters warm.
