Low Carb Salmon Patties with Feta Cheese Sauce[edit | edit source]
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 2 cans of canned salmon (14.75 oz each)
- 1/2 cup of almond flour
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup of onions, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup of bell peppers, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
For the Feta Cheese Sauce:
- 1/2 cup of feta cheese, crumbled
- 1/2 cup of heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon of dill, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Drain the salmon and remove any bones. In a large bowl, combine the salmon, almond flour, eggs, onions, bell peppers, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into patties. This recipe should make about 8 patties.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
- While the patties are cooking, make the feta cheese sauce. In a small saucepan, combine the feta cheese, heavy cream, dill, salt, and pepper. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Serve the salmon patties with the feta cheese sauce on top.
