Nacho Steak Skillet is a delicious, keto-friendly dish that is easy to prepare and packed with flavor. This recipe serves four and takes approximately 30 minutes to prepare.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 1 lb steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup salsa
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cilantro for garnish (optional)
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the steak to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the bell pepper and onion. Cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Return the steak to the skillet and stir in the salsa and sour cream.
- Top with the cheddar cheese and cover the skillet. Cook until the cheese is melted, about 2-3 minutes.
- Garnish with cilantro if desired and serve hot.
