Naxaprostene is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that is primarily used for its analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. It is a synthetic compound that belongs to the class of prostaglandin analogs, specifically designed to inhibit the synthesis of prostaglandins, which are mediators of inflammation and pain.
