Sausage Broccoli Cauliflower Gratin[edit | edit source]
A delicious and hearty keto friendly dish, the Sausage Broccoli Cauliflower Gratin is a perfect meal for those following a low-carb diet.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 1 lb sausage
- 1 head of broccoli, cut into florets
- 1 head of cauliflower, cut into florets
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- In a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned and no longer pink. Remove from heat and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the broccoli and cauliflower florets. Cook until they are slightly tender, about 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked sausage, broccoli, cauliflower, heavy cream, and 1 cup of the cheddar cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
