Steak with Keto Mushroom Stroganoff[edit | edit source]

Ingredients[edit | edit source]

Instructions[edit | edit source]

  1. Season the steaks with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat one tablespoon of olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Cook the steaks to your desired level of doneness, then remove from the pan and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, add another tablespoon of olive oil, the chopped onion, and minced garlic. Cook until the onion is translucent.
  5. Add the sliced mushrooms to the pan and cook until they are browned and their liquid has evaporated.
  6. Pour in the beef broth and let it simmer until it has reduced by half.
  7. Lower the heat and stir in the sour cream. Season with additional salt and pepper if needed.
  8. Return the steaks to the pan and let them warm in the sauce for a few minutes.
  9. Serve the steaks with the mushroom stroganoff sauce on top, garnished with fresh parsley.
