Caesar Salad Bacon Baskets is a delicious, keto-friendly recipe that combines the savory flavors of bacon with the fresh, crisp taste of salad. This recipe is perfect for those following a keto diet, as it is low in carbs and high in protein and healthy fats.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 12 slices of bacon
- 1 head of romaine lettuce
- 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/2 cup of mayonnaise
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius).
- Weave the bacon slices into a basket shape and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake the bacon baskets in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until crispy.
- While the bacon is baking, prepare the Caesar salad. Chop the romaine lettuce and place it in a large bowl.
- In a separate bowl, combine the Parmesan cheese, mayonnaise, garlic, and lemon juice. Stir until well combined.
- Pour the Caesar dressing over the chopped lettuce and toss until well coated.
- Once the bacon baskets are done, remove them from the oven and let them cool.
- Fill each bacon basket with the Caesar salad and serve.
