A delicious and indulgent treat that is perfect for those following a keto diet. This recipe combines the sweet and savory flavors of chocolate, maple syrup, pecans, and bacon to create a unique and satisfying snack.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 12 slices of thick-cut bacon
- 1 cup of sugar-free dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup of pecans, chopped
- 1/4 cup of sugar-free maple syrup
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius).
- Arrange the bacon slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake the bacon in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until crispy.
- While the bacon is baking, melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
- Once the bacon is done, remove it from the oven and let it cool.
- Brush each slice of bacon with the maple syrup, then sprinkle the chopped pecans over the top.
- Drizzle the melted chocolate over the bacon slices, making sure to cover the pecans.
- Allow the chocolate to harden before serving.
