Cowboy Sauce is a tangy and spicy sauce often associated with grilled meats and barbecue fare. Adapted for the keto lifestyle, this version minimizes sugar while maintaining its bold flavor.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 1/2 cup full-fat mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp sugar-free ketchup
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Optional: 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Preparation[edit | edit source]
1. In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, apple cider vinegar, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper. 2. Mix well until all ingredients are well incorporated. 3. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Add Worcestershire sauce if desired for added depth of flavor. 4. Transfer to a container and store in the refrigerator for up to one week.
