Keto Asian Meatballs with Thai Basil Sauce[edit]
This is a delicious and healthy recipe for Keto Asian Meatballs with Thai Basil Sauce. It's perfect for those following a keto diet and craving some Asian flavors.
Ingredients[edit]
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup Thai basil, chopped
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
For the Thai Basil Sauce:
- 1/2 cup Thai basil, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp erythritol or other keto-friendly sweetener
Instructions[edit]
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, almond flour, egg, garlic, soy sauce, Thai basil, green onions, sesame oil, ginger, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through.
- While the meatballs are baking, make the Thai Basil Sauce. In a small saucepan, combine the Thai basil, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, and erythritol. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 5-10 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
- Once the meatballs are done, serve them with the Thai Basil Sauce.
