Keto Style Szechuan Chicken is a delicious, spicy, and flavorful dish that is perfect for those following a Ketogenic Diet. This recipe is easy to prepare and packed with nutrients, making it a great choice for a healthy and satisfying meal.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 500g Chicken Breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp Coconut Oil
- 1 Red Bell Pepper, sliced
- 1 Green Bell Pepper, sliced
- 1 Onion, sliced
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp Ginger, minced
- 2 tbsp Szechuan Peppercorns, crushed
- 1 tbsp Red Chili Flakes
- 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp Vinegar
- Salt to taste
- Black Pepper to taste
- 2 Green Onions, chopped for garnish
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Heat the Coconut Oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add the Chicken Breast pieces to the pan and cook until they are no longer pink in the middle.
- Remove the chicken from the pan and set it aside.
- In the same pan, add the Red Bell Pepper, Green Bell Pepper, and Onion. Cook until they are soft.
- Add the Garlic, Ginger, Szechuan Peppercorns, and Red Chili Flakes to the pan. Cook for another minute.
- Return the chicken to the pan and add the Soy Sauce, Vinegar, Salt, and Black Pepper. Stir well to combine.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes, until the chicken is well coated with the sauce.
- Garnish with chopped Green Onions before serving.
