Keto Swedish Meatballs is a delicious and healthy recipe that is perfect for those following a keto diet. This recipe is easy to prepare and is packed with flavors that will satisfy your taste buds.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese
- 1/4 cup Pork Rinds, crushed
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp Allspice
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 cup Beef Broth
- 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
- 1 tbsp Dijon Mustard
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, Parmesan cheese, crushed pork rinds, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, nutmeg, and allspice. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove the meatballs from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the beef broth, heavy cream, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
- Return the meatballs to the skillet and simmer in the sauce for about 10 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
