Lebanese garlic cream toum
Lebanese Garlic Cream (Toum)[edit | edit source]
A traditional Lebanese recipe, this Garlic Cream or Toum is a delicious and creamy sauce that is perfect for those on a Keto diet.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 1 cup of garlic cloves
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 3 cups of vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup of lemon juice
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Peel the garlic cloves and place them in a food processor.
- Add the salt to the garlic and blend until a paste is formed.
- Slowly add the vegetable oil to the garlic paste while the food processor is running.
- Once half of the oil has been added, add half of the lemon juice.
- Continue to add the remaining oil and lemon juice until the mixture is creamy and fluffy.
- Store the garlic cream in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
