A delicious and nutritious keto friendly recipe, the Oriental Red Cabbage Salad is a perfect side dish for any meal. It's easy to prepare and packed with flavors.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 1 medium red cabbage, shredded
- 2 carrots, grated
- 1 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup sesame oil
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon erythritol or other keto-friendly sweetener
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded red cabbage, grated carrots, and thinly sliced red onion.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the sesame oil, rice vinegar, soy sauce, erythritol, grated ginger, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the dressing over the salad and toss well to combine.
- Garnish with sesame seeds before serving.
