Oven Roasted Turkey Thighs with Mushroom Sauce[edit | edit source]
This is a delicious and healthy keto friendly recipe for oven roasted turkey thighs with mushroom sauce. It's easy to prepare and packed with flavor.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 2 turkey thighs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Rub the turkey thighs with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Place the turkey thighs in a roasting pan and roast in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until the turkey is cooked through and the skin is crispy.
- While the turkey is roasting, heat the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add the garlic and mushrooms to the saucepan and cook until the mushrooms are browned and the garlic is fragrant.
- Add the chicken broth to the saucepan and bring to a simmer.
- Cook the mushroom sauce until it has reduced by half, about 10 minutes.
- Pour the mushroom sauce over the roasted turkey thighs and sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
