This is a delicious and easy-to-make keto friendly recipe for Simple Chicken Parmesan. It's a great option for those following a low-carb diet.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup marinara sauce, sugar-free
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Basil leaves for garnish
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- In a shallow dish, mix together the almond flour and half of the parmesan cheese.
- Melt the butter in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat.
- Dip each chicken breast in the butter, then dredge in the almond flour mixture, pressing it in to coat.
- Place the coated chicken breasts in the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides.
- Top each chicken breast with marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, and the remaining parmesan cheese.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
