  2. Add the egg and butter to the mug and whisk together until smooth.
  3. Stir in the cheddar cheese, chives, and bacon.
  4. Microwave the mug for 90 seconds or until the cake has risen and is firm to the touch.
  5. Allow the mug cake to cool for a few minutes before eating.
