Overview[edit | edit source]
Barbecue Ribs are a classic American dish known for their tender, fall-off-the-bone texture and rich, smoky flavor. This version utilizes a keto-friendly barbecue sauce, ensuring a low-carb treat that doesn't skimp on taste.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 1 rack of Ribs (pork or beef)
- 2 tbsp paprika
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1/2 cup keto-friendly barbecue sauce
Preparation[edit | edit source]
1. Preheat your grill or oven to 275°F (135°C). 2. In a bowl, mix together paprika, black pepper, salt, chili powder, garlic powder, and onion powder to create the dry rub. 3. Rub the spice mix generously over the ribs. 4. Place the ribs bone side down on the grill or in the oven. Cook for approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. 5. In the last 30 minutes of cooking, brush the keto-friendly barbecue sauce over the ribs. 6. Once cooked, remove from the heat and let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
Serving Suggestions[edit | edit source]
- Pair with a fresh keto kohlslaw or a side of creamed kale.
