This is a delicious and healthy keto friendly recipe for Breaded Root Celery with Creamed Garlic Beans. It's a perfect dish for those who are on a ketogenic diet and love to enjoy a variety of flavors.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 1 large root celery
- 2 cups of green beans
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1 cup of almond flour
- 2 eggs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (392°F).
- Peel the root celery and cut it into slices.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs. In another bowl, place the almond flour. Dip each slice of root celery into the eggs, then coat with almond flour.
- Place the breaded root celery slices on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown.
- While the root celery is baking, prepare the creamed garlic beans. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Add the green beans to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes, until they are tender.
- Add the heavy cream to the pan, reduce the heat to low, and simmer until the cream has thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve the breaded root celery with the creamed garlic beans on the side.
