- 3 tablespoons cream cheese, softened or 3 tablespoons of Greek yogurt
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- Pinch of salt
- Optional: Stevia or other sweeteners, herbs, and spices for flavoring
Preparation[edit | edit source]
1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C). 2. In a large bowl, beat the egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff peaks form. 3. In another bowl, mix the egg yolks, cream cheese (or Greek yogurt), salt, and any additional flavorings until smooth. 4. Gently fold the egg yolk mixture into the egg white mixture. 5. On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spoon the mixture into rounds. 6. Bake for approximately 30 minutes or until lightly golden. 7. Allow to cool before serving.
