- 2 large leeks, cleaned and sliced into rings
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Optional: 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation[edit | edit source]
- 1. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- 2. Add the sliced leeks to the skillet and sauté until they begin to soften, approximately 5 minutes.
- 3. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine.
- 4. Allow the mixture to simmer gently for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the leeks are tender and the cream has thickened.
- 5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. If desired, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese just before serving.
