A creamy, rich, and delicious Gluten-Free Bechamel Sauce that is also keto-friendly. This sauce is perfect for those following a keto diet and is gluten-free.

  1. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the coconut flour to the melted butter, whisking continuously to avoid lumps.
  3. Cook the flour and butter mixture for about 2 minutes, until it turns a light golden color.
  4. Slowly add the almond milk to the saucepan, whisking continuously.
  5. Add the salt, white pepper, and nutmeg to the saucepan.
  6. Continue to cook the sauce over medium heat, whisking frequently, until the sauce thickens to your desired consistency.
  7. Remove the sauce from the heat and use immediately, or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
