This is a delicious and hearty Keto friendly recipe for Chicken and Mushroom Casserole. It's perfect for those on a low-carb diet and is packed with protein and healthy fats.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 4 chicken breasts
- 2 cups of mushrooms
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of thyme
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Cook the chicken in the pan until it is golden brown on both sides.
- Remove the chicken from the pan and set it aside.
- In the same pan, add the mushrooms and cook until they are browned.
- Add the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and thyme to the pan and stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
- Place the chicken back in the pan and spoon the sauce over the top.
- Transfer the pan to the oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
