Overview[edit | edit source]
Keto Nutella is a low-carb alternative to the popular hazelnut spread. It combines roasted hazelnuts with cocoa powder and a keto-friendly sweetener to create a rich and chocolatey spread that can be enjoyed without compromising your carb intake.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 2 cups hazelnuts, roasted
- 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup erythritol or other keto-friendly sweetener
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2-3 tbsp coconut oil, melted
Preparation[edit | edit source]
- 1. Place the roasted hazelnuts in a food processor and blend until they turn into a smooth butter.
- 2. Add the cocoa powder, sweetener, vanilla extract, and salt. Continue processing until well combined.
- 3. While the food processor is running, drizzle in the melted coconut oil until the desired consistency is achieved.
- 4. Transfer to a jar or an airtight container and store in a cool, dry place.
Serving Suggestions[edit | edit source]
- Spread on keto crepes, low-carb toast, or paleo bread.
- Use as a filling for keto-friendly desserts or pastries.
- Enjoy straight from the spoon for a quick treat!
