Keto Better Goldfish Recipe[edit | edit source]
This is a recipe for a keto-friendly version of the popular snack, goldfish crackers. These are perfect for those following a keto diet as they are low in carbs and high in fat.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup coconut flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 egg
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a large bowl, combine the almond flour, coconut flour, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Add the shredded cheddar cheese to the flour mixture and mix well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter and egg.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
- Roll out the dough between two pieces of parchment paper until it's about 1/8 inch thick.
- Use a small fish-shaped cookie cutter to cut out the crackers.
- Place the crackers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crackers are golden brown.
- Allow the crackers to cool completely before serving.
