Keto Warm Kale Salad[edit | edit source]
This is a recipe for a delicious and nutritious Keto Warm Kale Salad. It's perfect for those following a keto diet as it's low in carbs and high in healthy fats.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 2 cups of Kale
- 1/2 cup of almond slivers
- 1/2 cup of crumbled goat cheese
- 1/2 cup of cooked and crumbled bacon
- 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of Apple cider vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Start by washing the kale and removing the stems. Tear the leaves into bite-sized pieces.
- Heat a large pan over medium heat. Add the almond slivers and toast them until they're golden brown. Remove them from the pan and set them aside.
- In the same pan, add the olive oil. Once it's hot, add the kale. Cook it until it's wilted and slightly crispy.
- Add the apple cider vinegar to the pan and stir it into the kale. Season with salt and pepper.
- Remove the pan from the heat. Add the toasted almond slivers, crumbled goat cheese, and cooked bacon to the pan. Toss everything together until it's well combined.
- Serve the salad warm.
