Low Carb Flank Steak with Pepper Sauce and Cauliflower and Broccoli Gratin[edit | edit source]

Instructions[edit | edit source]

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. Season the flank steak with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the steak and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, add the garlic and cook until fragrant. Add the beef broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in the heavy cream and simmer until the sauce has thickened.
  5. In a separate pot, melt the butter and add the cauliflower and broccoli. Cook until tender.
  6. Transfer the vegetables to a baking dish and sprinkle with cheese. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
  7. Slice the steak and serve with the pepper sauce and the cauliflower and broccoli gratin.
