Keto Gyro Meatballs with Greek Sauce[edit | edit source]
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- Ground lamb - 1 lb
- Ground beef - 1 lb
- Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
- Red onion (finely chopped) - 1/2 cup
- Parsley (chopped) - 1/4 cup
- Oregano - 1 tsp
- Salt - 1 tsp
- Black pepper - 1/2 tsp
- Olive oil - 2 tbsp
For the Greek Sauce:
- Greek yogurt - 1 cup
- Cucumber (grated) - 1/2 cup
- Lemon juice - 2 tbsp
- Garlic (minced) - 1 clove
- Dill - 1 tsp
- Salt - 1/2 tsp
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, ground beef, garlic, red onion, parsley, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
- Drizzle the meatballs with olive oil and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
- While the meatballs are baking, prepare the Greek sauce. In a bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, lemon juice, garlic, dill, and salt. Stir until well combined.
- Serve the meatballs with the Greek sauce on the side.
