This is a delicious and easy-to-make keto friendly recipe for Low Carb Chicken Parmesan. It's perfect for those on a low-carb diet or anyone who loves a good, hearty meal.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup marinara sauce, sugar-free
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- Olive oil for frying
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- In a shallow dish, combine the almond flour, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- In another dish, beat the eggs.
- Dip each chicken breast in the egg mixture, then coat in the almond flour mixture.
- Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook until golden brown on both sides.
- Top each chicken breast with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
