This is a recipe for a delicious and hearty Beanless Low Carb Chili Con Carne. It's perfect for those following a keto diet as it's high in protein and low in carbs.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Remove the beef from the pot and set aside.
- In the same pot, add the onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Cook until the vegetables are softened.
- Return the beef to the pot and add the diced tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
- Add the beef broth and bring the mixture to a simmer. Reduce the heat to low and let the chili cook for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve the chili hot, garnished with your favorite keto-friendly toppings.
