Low Carb Fish n Chips is a delicious and healthy alternative to traditional fish and chips. This recipe is perfect for those following a keto diet as it is low in carbs and high in protein and healthy fats.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 2 large pieces of white fish (such as cod or haddock)
- 1 cup of almond flour
- 1 egg
- 1 cup of pork rinds, crushed
- 1 large turnip, peeled and cut into fries
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- Dip each piece of fish into the beaten egg, then coat in the almond flour and crushed pork rinds.
- Place the coated fish onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Toss the turnip fries in olive oil, salt, and pepper, then spread out on a separate baking tray.
- Bake both the fish and turnip fries in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and the fries are golden and crispy.
- Serve the low carb fish n chips with a side of keto-friendly ketchup or tartar sauce.
