Togo, officially the Togolese Republic, is a country in West Africa bordered by Ghana to the west, Benin to the east and Burkina Faso to the north. The country extends south to the Gulf of Guinea, where its capital Lomé is located.
Obesity in Togo[edit | edit source]
In 2016, Togo had an adult obesity rate of 8.4%, ranking it 151st globally. This is relatively low compared to many other countries, particularly those in the developed world. However, it still represents a significant health concern for the country.
